Bright but Fragile The Meteor Storm Spiral Spinner Wand is hard to review. Originally purchased to use as a distraction tool while working with children in a hospital setting. I have used several different models, each having their own pros/cons.Pros:- Very bright! Light spinner is very easy to see even in harsh, bright light.-On/Off button which is essential for any children’s toy/tool-Size is appropriate for my specific need, easily able to fit into a cargo pocket or bag to carry around…

Worked Worked out of the box, kept the pull tab to the batteries and put it back in so it doesn’t go off until I want to use it. We are going to Disney in April, 2 months from now, and instead of buying light up toys for a ridiculous amount, we are bribing this. Also, the colors match Disney well enough! Spinning lights, gentle hum, and colors! What’s not to love if you’re a young child. Great solution for a 12-month old son in a car/airplane! The spinning lights and hum of the motor are so intriguing. During a cross-country flight, we would pull this out when books/snacks failed to calm our very active son. His immediate reaction was to self-sooth by placing the globe near face/mouth and smile. The only unsatisfying thing would be the quality of the globe protecting the spinning lights. This cracked going through TSA. Still safe, but likely will not make another trip.
